Shrub topiary is a popular practice of training tree and shrub plants to grow naturally in a particular direction by clipping its leaves and branches. Most shrub species can be trained to grow in specific directions, but they will usually not grow up to be tall enough to compete with taller and stronger plants. This is not to say that a shrub can not grow tall, as some can. The question is, why are shrubs sometimes grown to be tall, and trees sometimes grew to be very short.
Trees can be grown tall for a variety of reasons. One of the most common reasons for this is to create the illusion of height by covering large areas of lawn or garden with large foliage plants. This can create an illusion of extra space and make a lawn look more attractive, especially in urban settings. Tall shrubs can also provide shade against hot summer days, when the hot sun can cause problems for plants. Tall trees and shrubs can add height to a garden, while still providing it with shade, thus creating a beautiful, dense display of trees in the center of a garden.
Other reasons for taller trees and shrubs include the fact that different species have different reasons for becoming tall. Many species, such as the Juniperus Virginiana, will grow into a tree after they reach maturity. This often occurs when the tree has reached the point where it is able to produce larger leaves and buds. At this stage, the tree becomes bushy, with new shoots sprouting and the leaves growing larger. After the plant matures, the leaves and buds begin to become bushy and begin producing new shoots. The growth of these new shoots will continue until the plant has grown to the point where it is ready to be able to start growing into a tree again.
When trees reach the point of growing into trees again, they typically take a long time to return to their former state. For example, a tree may have lost all of its leaves and buds, but if you are unable to remove all the leaves and buds, the tree will be able to re-grow them. And begin to grow back in its original state. In addition, many trees have a unique pattern of growth that causes them to slowly increase in height.
Trees and shrubs that grow tall are often calling topiaries, since they resemble a shrub that is growing up into a tree. Some examples of this type of tree would include shrubs, trees, and even large ficus trees. In most cases, a topiary will be made out of wood, but there are some that are made out of plastic and some even metal. A shrub can also be used as a topiary.
Trees and shrubs can be trained to grow naturally into the shape of shrubs, so if you have an existing tree or shrub that you want to give a dramatic change, try growing one into a tree and then plant it into a shrub. Trees can also be trained to grow to be taller, but the results are not always the same. Sometimes you have to replant the entire shrub. With shrubs, though, it is possible to trim and prune the shrub back a bit so that it can grow to its full height and grow back naturally.
